How to choose a GEO tool when you run AI visibility for several client brands: a quick answer, a comparison table, and six questions to ask on every sales call.
Quick answer
For most agencies that run AI search for several client brands, start with HeyAmos.
You run everything from one agency workspace. A pitching account audits a prospect. A retainer account tracks the client every week once they sign.
The Agency plan is $299/month with 5 seats included, 250 prompts a month and 10 pitching accounts a month. Retainers are priced per brand.
If client dashboards that your clients can log in to matter most, look at Peec. Its agency plans start at $245/month.
If your clients are large enterprises that run security reviews, look at Profound.
Disclosure: HeyAmos is our own platform, so we are closest to it. Every tool below gets the same questions, and every price comes from the vendor’s own website.
Comparison table
Pricing note: Prices move. Every price in this table was checked on the vendor’s own website on 12 October 2026. Check again before you buy. Profound’s seat count is not on its pricing page, so it is not listed here.

What agencies actually need
Ask these six questions on every sales call. They matter more than any feature list.
- Can I audit a prospect before they sign, and does that audit become the client’s account? You want to show proof in the pitch, then keep the same prompts once they sign. HeyAmos does this with a pitching account that converts to a retainer account. Peec, Profound and Goodie also list pitch workspaces or projects, so ask each vendor how long a pitch lasts and what happens when it ends.
- How does each client stay separate? Every client needs its own prompts, competitors and engines, and your team needs one login to see all of them. Ask whether a new client costs extra. Profound and Goodie list client workspaces as add-ons. HeyAmos prices retainers per brand.
- What does a client actually receive? Ask to see a real report. Ask who on the client side will read it. HeyAmos gives you client-ready AI Search Audits and executive summaries.
- What will it cost at 5, 10 and 25 clients? Count seats, client workspaces and add-ons, and get the total in writing. HeyAmos Agency is $299/month with 5 seats included, and retainers are priced per brand.
- Which engines come with each client, and which are add-ons? A client can be invisible in one engine and strong in another. On the HeyAmos Agency plan, ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews are included. Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, AI Mode and DeepSeek are add-ons.
- What will my team do on Monday? Ask whether the tool hands you a list of actions each week, or only numbers. HeyAmos gives you weekly actions for each retainer account, split into content actions on the client’s website and external actions on other sites, and shows what worked.
Why agencies need weekly data, not one-off checks
A single question typed into ChatGPT is not data. AI answers change from one run to the next, and the tool you test may already know your history. To see where a client really stands, you need many prompts, run again and again, week after week.
HeyAmos says it runs every unique prompt multiple times per model, every week, to build a statistical picture of how AI talks about a brand. Visibility is how often a brand is mentioned. If AI names a client in 21 of 100 answers, visibility is 21%. Competitors you track get a score too.
That is also why clients cannot easily do this alone. The agency brings the prompts, the weekly routine and the plan for what to change.
How the pitch to retainer flow works in HeyAmos
HeyAmos is built around two kinds of account. Both sit in one agency workspace.
A pitching account is a one-time snapshot with rich visuals and strategic recommendations. You use it to close new business. It shows which sources AI cites for a prospect’s category, how the prospect compares with competitors, and what to do about it. The agencies page says audits with key insights are ready in minutes.
A retainer account runs every week. It tracks trends, hands your team new recommended actions, and shows which actions moved the numbers. When a prospect signs, the pitching account converts to a retainer account and keeps the same prompts, so you do not start over.
The Agency plan lists these things for the whole workspace:
- A multi-brand workspace with 5 seats included.
- 10 pitching accounts a month and 250 prompts a month.
- ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, with other engines as add-ons.
- Executive summaries, citations, sentiment and prompt volumes, competitor benchmarking and content audits.
- 20 actions and 5 content drafts a month, plus an MCP server so you can connect HeyAmos to your own LLM.
- Agency pitch templates and a sales playbook, 1 free team training session and 1 free expert advisory session.
Retainer accounts are a separate custom package, priced per brand. You can bundle retainers as you take on more clients.
What to show in a pitch
A pitch has one job: show the prospect a gap they can see and a plan they can believe. Whichever tool you use, build the pitch around these five things.
- A prompt where the prospect is missing. Pick a buyer question where the prospect has room to improve. A question where they already look strong does not start a conversation.
- A comparison with competitors. Show who AI names instead, and how often.
- The sources AI cites. Name the exact sites and pages AI pulls from for that category. HeyAmos pitching accounts show these.
- One content action and one external action. A content action is a change on the prospect’s own website. An external action is a placement or fix on another site.
- How you will measure it. Say you will track the same prompts every week and report what changed.
Questions to ask HeyAmos before you buy
We would rather you ask these now than find out later.
- What will each client receive? The Agency plan lists client-ready AI Search Audits and executive summaries, so ask to see examples.
- Which add-on engines will my clients need, and what do they cost? Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, AI Mode and DeepSeek are add-ons on the Agency plan.
- How many prompts will each client need? The Agency plan lists 250 prompts a month, so check the total across your roster.
- How are retainers priced for my mix of clients? Retainers are custom and priced per brand.
- What training do we get? The Agency plan lists 1 free team training session and 1 free expert advisory session.
Which tool fits which agency
No single tool fits every agency. Here is where each one is strongest, and what to check before you buy.
- HeyAmos: choose it if you want pitching accounts, weekly actions and retainers in one place. Check that the AI Search Audits and executive summaries suit your clients.
- Peec: choose it if you want client dashboards and clean tracking. Check how much of the content work your team will still do, and how many models each plan lets you pick.
- Profound: choose it if your clients are large enterprises that run security reviews. Check the total cost once you add client workspaces at $399/month each.
- Goodie: choose it if you want a closed-loop program with revenue attribution for each client. Check what the Agency Growth plan includes beyond pitch workspaces.
- Otterly.AI: choose it if budget is the main constraint. Check whether you need a pitch workspace, because its pricing and agency pages do not list one.
- Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: choose it if your agency already pays for Semrush. You do not have to drop Semrush to add another tool later.
